Satan is real. Satan is active in this world.
As Christians we can see the pains of this world, the breakdown of marriage, the family, abuse of women and children, mass murders, war, terrorism, and many more. It is not popular in churches to talk about the enemy. I don't want to give them more power than what they have. We DO need to be aware of the deceptions. The sin of this world and the deceptions of the enemy make it difficult to know right from wrong. That's on purpose. We are being attacked on all sides. The enemy doesn't just shoot arrows at us, he shoots "Flaming" Arrows. Double the pain, double the torture. Some events of this world are obviously Satan. Other events seem so harmless and yet are not of God. We need help in the battle.
It takes a special weapon of defense to protect us. The defense is through the power of Jesus Christ. Faith in Jesus produces an impentrable shield. Deeply studying the word of a God, building a daily relationship with God through prayer and worship strengthen the shield. We can not fight the battle on our own.
The goods news, we who have faith in Christ know the outcome. We win!
