Eliminate the losers!

Psalm 10 (New International Version, ©2010)

 12 Arise, LORD! Lift up your hand, O God.
   Do not forget the helpless.
13 Why does the wicked man revile God?
   Why does he say to himself,
   “He won’t call me to account”?
14 But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted;
   you consider their grief and take it in hand.

IS it just me or does it seem that the people who revile God win and the helpless lose. I know it's not true, but it always seems like it. I find myself, sometimes, wishing they would "get theirs!"  David was saying the same thing. But, we know something that David didn't. The victory has been won. The final accounting has already been done. The wicked lose and those who are helpless, those who turn to the Lord, win!

Our job is to make sure the number who lose, gets smaller. The Lord wants us to teach people that even if they are not called into account here on Earth, the final judgment is at hand. No one will escape! We can't spend our time wishing evil on the "losers" of this world. We need to work hard to build relationships with those people and then share the Love of Christ so they will not be losers! I personally know how tough that is. WIth Christ on our side, all things are possible!

Lord, Thank you for your love. Thank you for the victory you have guaranteed those who follow you. Amen!
