This is one of the most popular verses in the bible. I see it posted the most often on social media websites and it is quoted most during times of trial.
I am excited about life because of the possibilities within this verse. There are so many important words, "all", "gives", and "strength" tell the true depth. First it strikes me that with this verse in mind it should become obvious that you can't do life on your own. Many try and some even appear to make it with out the help of Jesus, but we aren't always getting the full story. My experience proves our need for Jesus.
The word "give" instantly rings of his wonderful grace. The verse states no conditions for the gift, there is not even a statement that says we must ask. It's free for the taking and he freely gives.
"All" is another wonderful word. Again, he puts no barriers or hoops for us to jump through. He doesn't justify his gift by isolating its use. It simply states "all".
We have such a wondeful God that wants nothing but the best for us. He promises to be with us and to provide strength and guidance through all circumstances, no strings attached. That is the definition of pure grace. There is nothing impossible, the word doesn't exist in the vocabulary of God. Praise God!
