For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. (Luke 2:11 KJV)
Such a simple verse. But, these powerful words have been read on this day for generations. God left his heavenly home and dwelt among us. He came to save us from ourselves. He did it with the power of a simple servant. He ushered in his kingdom from a manger, homeless, with only a few lowly shepherds as witness. 2000+ years later we are still awed by this night. The God of the universe came to us. Praise God for his wonderful gift. May we never forget the love that came forth on this night. Praise God for the privilege of a life devoted to him. Praise God for our one purpose, to bring others to know of his wonderful love. Lord Jesus we worship you and will forever honor you with our service. Forgive us when we lose sight of you. Forgive us when we act as if you never existed. Forgive us our sins against you and our brothers and sisters. Thank you for your son. Thank you for GRACE! Thank you for this night!
Merry Christmas!
