Chosen

“God chose things despised by the world, things counted as nothing at all, and used them to bring to nothing what the world considers important.”

I am nothing and God is using me.

I'm not cutting myself down when I say that. It's the truth of any comparison to Christ. I am unimportant by any definition, yet God uses me! My Lord Has taken nothing and created everything. I praise him for his wonderful plan. 

God has chosen me, an honor I just can't fully comprehend. He has placed me on this planet, breathed life into my body and keeps me grounded through his grace and love. He chooses the weak, the powerless to display his power and might. He chooses the servant to be the leader. He chooses the timid to be bold and confident as they share his message. My wonderful God has chosen me!

Praise God I am his. I am in awe of his love for me. I am humbled that he has chosen me for his purposes and I pledge to serve him forever. Praise God he is MY God!
